What causes bleeding during sexual intercourse

Bleeding during sexual intercourse is often caused by: 1) lesions of the cervix itself, such as chronic inflammation of the cervix forming cervical polyps, which can lead to vaginal bleeding after contact; 2) contact bleeding after intercourse due to early stage of cervical cancer; 3) inflammation of the vagina, such as vaginal mucosal polyps, inflammation of the vaginal mucosa, such as trichomoniasis, which often leads to many bleeding spots on the vaginal mucosa, and friction after intercourse. Contact bleeding can also be formed by friction after intercourse. 4. Since submucosal fibroids protrude from the cervical opening, contact with them can also lead to bleeding. Therefore, a detailed gynecological examination must be done for sexual bleeding to find out whether there are redundant organisms in the vagina and cervix, and it is recommended to do routine laboratory tests of the white belt and screening for cervical cancer, and if necessary, ultrasound examination to rule out the possibility of submucosal fibroids.
