What is pleomorphic cutaneous sarcoma

Pleomorphic cutaneous sarcoma is a malignant tumor that occurs in the dermis or subcutaneous tissues, and sarcomas are usually insensitive to chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Pleomorphic cutaneous sarcomas are more common in sun-exposed areas such as the scalp and usually occur in the elderly, more often in men than women. The average diameter of the tumor is about 2.5 centimeters, and the tumor usually grows rapidly, largely in the form of a polyp. Polymorphic cutaneous sarcomas are usually located in the dermis or subcutis, and the borders of the lesion are usually indistinct, asymmetric, and poorly mobile. Tumor necrosis is usually seen in more than half of the cases of pleomorphic dermatosarcoma, and some of them have nerve infiltration and lymphatic vessel infiltration. If any of the above situations occurs, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for early and regular treatment.
