Do I need an ultrasound of my heart

Cardiac ultrasound is currently the most common and one of the most important cardiovascular imaging examinations. Current cardiovascular imaging techniques include chest plain film, spiral CT, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), cardiac catheterization, cardiac nuclear imaging, and cardiac ultrasound, and cardiac ultrasound is the most common imaging tool for suspected cardiovascular disease. Cardiac ultrasound can be valuable for patients with congenital heart disease, coronary artery disease, heart valve disease, cardiomyopathy, and cardiac tumors. Patients with chest tightness or chest pain, shortness of breath after activity, murmurs on auscultation, suspected congenital heart disease, and other tests suggesting heart disease are recommended.
