Currently there is no corresponding proprietary Chinese medicine for Huanglian Wengdian Tang in the clinic. Huang Lian Wen Bile Tang is composed of Huang Lian, Han Xia, Chen Pi, Poria, Licorice, Ginger, Bamboo Root, and Citrus Aurantium. It has the effect of clearing heat and resolving phlegm. Clinically, it is mainly used for the treatment of insomnia, dizziness, heartburn, bitter mouth, yellowish tongue caused by internal disturbance of phlegm-heat.
