Heavy lung texture is described by imaging lung findings, such as X-rays, CT or MRI of both lungs, and CT lung imaging to enhance the appearance of blood vessels, large nerves, and the hilum, as well as a small amount of surrounding lung tissue, with varying degrees of congestion, edema, and even exudation of inflammatory material. It is common to see such clinical manifestations due to allergic stimulation by viruses, bacteria, radiation, and inhalation of pollen, oil smoke, sulfur dioxide, etc. It is common to see bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary emphysema combined with inflammatory reactions due to infectious or non-infectious factors.
