Causes of endometriosis

For women of childbearing age, endometriosis is a relatively common gynecological disease. Endometriosis occurs when the endometrium becomes ectopic to the muscle layer, endometriosis causes ovarian endometriosis, also called chocolate cysts, and ectopic to other parts of the pelvis, also called pelvic ectopic disease in the corresponding area. When endometriosis occurs in women, they will have menstrual cramps. Mild cramps can be relieved by appropriate symptomatic treatment, such as proper rest and taking antispasmodic and pain-relieving medications. If the endometriosis is more serious, surgery is needed when the size of the endometriosis exceeds 3 months of pregnancy or when the ovarian chocolate cyst is larger than 5 cm and has twisted or ruptured.
