What are the reactions of the first trimester?

The clinical reactions that may occur in early pregnancy are mainly the following: first, gastrointestinal reactions, which are mainly related to the patient’s elevated estrogen and HCG levels. Most of the patients will experience nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension and other clinical manifestations around 40 days of pregnancy, and the symptoms will be gradually aggravated. The symptoms will gradually decrease after two months, and most of these reactions will disappear around three months. Secondly, patients will have enlarged breasts, slight swelling and pain, deepened and enlarged areola, easy erection of nipples, and individual patients may have nipple lactation, which is mainly related to the increase of progesterone and prolactin level after pregnancy. Thirdly, patients may have clinical manifestations of weakness, drowsiness and other body discomfort, which are mainly related to the relative lack of blood supply to the head or brain due to the downward movement of qi and blood to the uterus after pregnancy. Fourthly, patients may gradually develop deepening vulva color as pregnancy progresses, which is mainly related to the increase of estrogen level after pregnancy.
