Why doesn’t your period end for a long time and your stomach doesn’t hurt?

If menstruation does not end for a long time and the stomach does not hurt, it is important to consider whether there is a pre-eclampsia or ectopic pregnancy, whether there is an endocrine disorder or the presence of organic pathology and other diseases.

Under normal circumstances, the duration of each menstrual period is 2-8 days, and the average is 4-5 days. If the menstrual period is not always clean, you need to go to the hospital for further clarification.

1. Pre-eclampsia or ectopic pregnancy. Women who are sexually active and have irregular periods need to have a blood test for human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) to determine if they are pregnant. Because if there is a pre-eclampsia or ectopic pregnancy, it may lead to vaginal bleeding.

2. Endocrine imbalance: may be too emotional, mental stress, sudden change of environment and other factors, resulting in endocrine imbalance in the body. For example, polycystic ovary syndrome, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, etc., may lead to menstrual bleeding or irregular vaginal bleeding.

3. Organic lesions: There may be organic lesions such as endometrial polyps, fibroids or even endometriosis, which can also lead to abnormal bleeding.

Patients need to go to the hospital for further examination. If the irregular bleeding is caused by organic lesions, it needs to be treated in time for the cause, so as to avoid the seriousness of the disease and the damage to the body.
