There is no clinical statement about how much normal volume of sperm, usually refers to the volume of semen, the normal volume of semen is about 2 to 5 ml. Clinically, the sperm density is often multiplied by the semen volume to calculate the sperm count, and the minimum value of normal sperm density is 20,000,000/ml, and the normal semen volume is 2 to 5 ml. A semen volume of <1 ml or >6 ml can be regarded as abnormal. If the volume of semen is less than 1ml, it is possible that the total number of sperms is too low, making the chances of pregnancy for the spouse much lower. If the total sperm count is less than 40,000,000, the diagnosis is oligospermia. If the volume of semen is more than 6 ml, it is considered to be related to prostate related diseases. If there are no sperms, it is called azoospermia. If patients find that there are semen abnormalities, it is recommended that they go to a local regular hospital for a detailed examination and develop a treatment plan under the guidance of a professional physician.
