How to prevent and treat cyanosis?

  Cyanosis refers to a pale blue face or a blue-black face, mostly due to actual cold evidence and severe pain. Cold is the main attraction, and its nature is Yin condensation, cold condensation and Qi stagnation, menstrual vessels are constricted, blood flow is not smooth, stasis color is exposed, so the blue color is seen. Severe pain, resulting in constriction of the meridians and poor blood flow, can also be seen as cyan. The treatment of cyanosis is mainly supplementary to the various causes of the disease.  To prevent cyanosis, patients should first live a regular life, develop the habit of working and resting on time, and ensure sleep. The bathing water should not be too hot and the bathing time should not be too long. It is important to develop the habit of having bowel movements on time to keep the bowels open. In addition, the patient’s diet should be regular and quantitative. Avoid catching cold and prevent cold. Patients can exercise in moderation, according to their ability, without reluctance or over-exercising, and without strenuous and competitive activities.  In the case of microcirculatory failure, blood stasis and diffuse intravascular coagulation, the face is blue and gray, the perioral area is significantly cyanotic, the skin has patterns or bleeding spots, and the child presents drowsiness, or even coma. Irregular breathing is common in severe shock or diffuse intravascular coagulation. Patients with cyanotic facial color are most often seen with heart-yang failure and heart-blood stasis. As for pediatric cyanosis due to disease, abnormal facial color can occur, so it is important to carefully observe the changes of pediatric facial color in daily care work, which can play a role in early diagnosis and timely treatment of cyanosis.  Due to the facial cyanosis caused by diffuse intravascular coagulation, the severity of clinical manifestations varies, and the treatment decision should be individualized.  1.Treatment of underlying disease Strengthening the treatment of underlying disease is the primary measure to abate DIC promoting factors and increase the survival of patients.  2.Application of blood products The application of blood products is actually a kind of alternative treatment. Including concentrated platelet suspension, fresh frozen plasma, cold precipitation, fresh whole blood, prothrombin complex and so on.  3.Heparin application Heparin therapy can benefit certain patients with chronic DIC. It is also used in patients with acute DIC and needs to be applied with caution.  4.Fibrinolytic inhibitors Caution is needed when applying.
