How to diagnose brain injury in infants

Infant brain injury needs to be diagnosed based on clinical symptoms, birth history, and combined with auxiliary examinations. The main diagnostic methods are as follows: 1. Birth history: history of prematurity, intrauterine distress and birth asphyxia, severe jaundice, hypoglycemia, shock and other high-risk medical history; 2. Symptoms: agitation, refusal to eat, poor sucking, abnormal muscle tone, drowsiness, coma, convulsions and other symptoms; 3. Other examinations: cranial ultrasound, CT, MRI, evoked potentials, video EEG and other brain electrophysiological examinations.
