Does pregnancy cause leukorrhea?

Pregnancy is also associated with leukorrhea. Even if the discharge increases, it is normal to have no odor and no discomfort. If the discharge is odorous and accompanied by itching of the vulva or vagina, it cannot be ruled out that the vaginal inflammation has been contracted after pregnancy. If the infection is fungal, antifungal medication such as clotrimazole pessary can be administered vaginally once a day for 7-10 days. During pregnancy, fungal infections can easily cause thrush when the fetus is delivered from the vagina, so timely treatment is needed.
