How foot odor develops

Tinea pedis, or ringworm of the foot, is a superficial fungal infection caused mainly by contact infection of the areas between the toes by fungi such as Trichophyton rubrum. Ringworm is a superficial fungal infection caused by fungal infection of the skin between the toes, metatarsals, heels and other parts of the foot. The common causative fungi mainly include Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton suis, Plaster-like microsporidia and flocculent epidermid fungi. Most of them are caused by Trichophyton rubrum infection, accounting for about 50% to 90%. Fungal infections are often transmitted by contact, such as sharing shoes, socks, bath towels, footbaths, etc. with the patient or scratching the ringworm area with hands leading to its own spread. Ringworm often spreads from one side to the opposite side and involves both sides. If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time and follow the doctor’s instructions.
