Resolving flatulence usually takes some time and will not be effective immediately. It can be relieved by massage, exercise and medication.
1. Massage: flatulence is mostly gas accumulation in the intestines, exhaust can effectively relieve the discomfort caused by intestinal flatulence, hot compresses and rubbing the abdomen to accelerate intestinal peristalsis to promote the discharge of gas.
2. Exercise: prolonged bed rest or too little exercise will lead to a relative reduction in gastrointestinal movement, which leads to intestinal flatulence, moderate exercise, such as jogging, etc., through the whole-body movement to drive gastrointestinal peristalsis.
3. Drug therapy: massage, exercise and other physical therapy is not effective when you can give medication, such as Kesler, glycerin enema, etc., through the lubrication of the intestinal tract to assist in the way of exhaust. Gastric stimulants such as domperidone can also be used to enhance gastric motility and speed up intestinal peristalsis for the purpose of resolving intestinal flatulence.
If the symptoms of intestinal flatulence are serious or persist for several days without improvement, the patient should go to the hospital in time for treatment. All of the above medications should be used under the guidance of a doctor, avoid self-medication.
