How to treat a left frontal lobe meningioma

Left frontal lobe meningioma can be treated with general therapy, surgery, and radiation therapy according to the patient’s specific condition.
1. General treatment: if the left frontal meningioma is very small (<2 cm) and asymptomatic, it can be closely observed for the time being and regularly reviewed.
2. Surgery: The left frontal meningioma can be removed by making an incision through the hairline of the forehead, removing the bone flap with a milling cutter or a wire saw, cutting the dura mater, and then performing a craniotomy to remove the left frontal meningioma.
3. Radiation therapy: For patients with meningiomas that cannot be completely resected, patients with WHO grade 3 meningiomas, and patients who cannot tolerate surgery, radiation therapy can be carried out according to the doctor’s instructions. The purpose of radiation therapy is to destroy the meningioma cells as much as possible, and to reduce the risk of recurrence of meningiomas.
It is recommended that patients suffering from left frontal lobe meningioma should seek timely medical treatment and be actively treated under the guidance of doctors to avoid delaying their condition.
