Children with head lice must maintain scalp hygiene and follow the doctor’s instructions to use insecticidal drugs. 1. own cleanliness and hygiene: children with lice on their heads must first maintain personal hygiene, wash the affected area adequately, and do not share clothing, bedding or toiletries with others; and to the child’s used clothes or bed linen and so on to hot water cleaning and high temperature drying treatment. 2. Topical medication: children with lice on their heads should have their hair shaved clean and insecticidal ointments (e.g. pyrethroids, benzyl alcohol, etc.) should be applied to the scalp of the child as prescribed by the doctor. Lice on a child’s head is recommended to consult a doctor for symptomatic treatment in order to prevent the scalp from becoming infected and inflamed.
