H refers to the measurement of acidity, which clinically mainly refers to gastric acid, which has a pH of around 3-4. The positive condition often referred to clinically is not a positive pH, but a positive HP. The so-called HP positive is mainly H. pylori infection, H. pylori by carbon 13 or carbon 14 breath test, mainly to monitor the degree of H. pylori active in the stomach. If it is greater than 700 DPM or more, it is basically called significantly active and requires anti-H. pylori drug therapy. If it is less than 200 DPM, it can generally be considered to continue clinical observation and does not require special treatment. If there is upper abdominal discomfort, gastroscopy needs to be improved, and if there is ulcer disease or erosive sinusitis, symptomatic treatment such as medication to protect the gastric mucosa needs to be given.
