Radical Kidney Cancer Surgery Generally Stage Kidney Cancer

The indications for radical kidney cancer surgery are generally T1 stage renal cancer that cannot preserve renal units and T2~T4 stage renal cancer. T1 stage renal cancer refers to tumor size ≤7cm and confined to kidney, but due to the damage of renal unit and abnormal renal function, it is not suitable for preserving kidney and radical nephrectomy can be performed. T2 stage renal cancer refers to the tumor size is more than 7cm, but confined to kidney; T3 stage refers to the invasion of major veins, adrenal glands, perinephric tissues, but not exceeding the perinephric fascia; T4 stage refers to the tumor exceeding the renal fascia, and generally there is no metastasis in the distant places, all of them can be subjected to radical nephrectomy for renal cancer. If patients with kidney cancer have isolated kidney or radical nephrectomy may lead to complications of renal insufficiency or uremia, radical nephrectomy is generally not recommended. If you are suffering from kidney cancer, you should consult a doctor for examination in time and take appropriate treatment plan under doctor’s advice.
