When hyperbaric oxygen treats nerve injury, the treatment time varies according to the degree of injury, and the treatment usually lasts for 1~6 months. For patients with traumatic brain injury, cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage and other central nerve injuries, hyperbaric oxygen therapy usually requires 2~3 courses of 10 days each. After the course of treatment, the patient’s condition will be evaluated as a whole, and if the effect is good, the treatment can be stopped, otherwise the hyperbaric oxygen chamber treatment will be continued. For patients with spinal cord nerve injury, hyperbaric oxygen therapy takes a longer time, almost 3~6 months, with 10 days as a treatment course and 1~2 days rest between two courses, at least 10 courses are needed. Patients undergoing hyperbaric oxygen therapy need to be evaluated and monitored by a doctor, and the efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen therapy varies from person to person. Patients should also pay attention to rest, avoid excessive fatigue, and perform regular rehabilitation training to restore nerve function as much as possible.
