Generally speaking, if the secretion appears in the wound after surgery, if it is bloody, it is recommended to explore the wound again to stop bleeding; if it is yellow pus, it is recommended to open the wound to drain the pus and treat with anti-infection. Clinically, patients present with secretions from the wound after surgery. If the secretion is yellow pus, it is possible that the wound is infected, which in turn causes inflammation and wound suppuration. It is recommended to change the wound, if necessary, to open the wound, to be cleaned and drain the pus, regular dressing changes, and under the guidance of the doctor, the use of antibacterial and anti-inflammatory drugs, such as amoxicillin, cephalexin, and so on.
