The steps of percussion are from top to bottom, inward to outward, intercostal percussion, mainly starting from the lung tip to the lower lung border. The method of percussion is mainly the indirect percussion method, in which the palm of the left hand is placed on the chest, the middle finger is in contact with the chest wall, the remaining four fingers are separated as a percussion plate, and the middle finger of the right hand naturally drops as a percussion hammer, and the middle finger of the left hand is percussed with the strength of the wrist. By listening to the percussion sounds to determine whether there are solid lung changes, and also with chest X-ray, chest CT, comprehensive consideration of whether there are lung diseases.
