Sanma acupoint is located on the radial side of the index finger, and is taken with a slightly clenched fist, when the second metacarpal bone is in the depression on the radial side after the small head. It has the effect of clearing heat, relieving pain and relieving pharynx, and is mainly used for treating toothache, eye pain, sore throat, redness and swelling of fingers and back of hand. Sanmai Point, also known as Shao Gu, belongs to the Hand Yangming Large Intestine Meridian and is a transmission point. It is used for treating sore throat, toothache, eye pain, fullness in the chest and abdomen, asthma, fever, and redness and swelling of the back of the hands. Clinically, the general method of acupuncture is straight 0.5-0.8 inches. Moxibustion can be done with moxa sticks for 5 to 10 minutes.
