Is there any difference between freeze-dried panax pseudoginseng and ordinary panax pseudoginseng?

There is no difference in the efficacy and usage between freeze-dried Panax pseudoginseng and common Panax pseudoginseng, the main difference is that the drying method (i.e. process) is different. Freeze-dried panax pseudoginseng is freeze-dried from fresh panax pseudoginseng, while ordinary panax pseudoginseng is sun-dried from fresh panax pseudoginseng.
Panax pseudoginseng is the dried root and rhizome of Panax pseudoginseng, a plant of the family Wujiaceae. It is sweet, slightly bitter and warm in nature. It belongs to the liver and stomach meridians. It can dissipate blood stasis, stop bleeding, reduce swelling and relieve pain (eliminate swelling and pain). It is used for hemoptysis, hematemesis, epistaxis, hematochezia, metrorrhagia (excessive menstrual flow or dribbling), traumatic bleeding, stabbing pain in the chest and abdomen, and swelling and pain in stumbling.
Panax ginseng is used as a decoction in water, or ground into powder and swallowed, and can also be used externally. Note that pregnant women should be cautious in using Panax ginseng, and bleeding caused by Yin deficiency and blood heat should not be treated with Panax ginseng alone. It is recommended to use the medicine under the guidance of a doctor.
