Reasons for accidental bleeding from ear extraction

Bleeding from ear extraction generally has two causes: 1) bleeding from the external ear canal due to damage to the outer ear canal during ear extraction; 2) perforation of the eardrum due to damage to the eardrum due to the deeper and narrower outer ear canal. Patients first need to go to the hospital and check the electronic otoscope to make a clear diagnosis. If it is an injury to the external ear canal, it can be healed in about a week by using local oxyfloxacin ear drops, avoiding water in the ear, and eating less spicy and stimulating food. In case of tympanic membrane injury, a round perforation at the tympanic membrane can be found, with fresh blood oozing out locally. In terms of treatment, first of all, oral anti-inflammatory drugs are needed to avoid local infection, and cefixime, amoxicillin and roxithromycin can be taken orally for about five days, while avoiding water in the ear, colds and forceful nose blowing, and the traumatic tympanic membrane perforation can heal itself in about one month.
