How to properly treat acute hives

Urticaria is a common allergic disease of the skin and mucous membranes. It is caused by a type I allergic reaction to certain foods, drugs, inhalants (pollen, animal hair) and infections. Acute urticaria has an acute onset, with itching all over the body, and after scratching, there are wind clusters of different shapes and sizes, and the mucous membranes are affected with swelling of the lips and mouth and edema of the larynx, resulting in breathing difficulties and death by asphyxiation in severe cases. The skin lesions usually fade within a few hours, i.e., they are immediate. Systemic symptoms: fever (usually below 39°C), abdominal pain, diarrhea, joint pain. In severe cases, blood pressure drops, dizziness, chest tightness, and even shock. 1.With the above symptoms, seek medical attention immediately to control the disease so as not to delay the disease. 2.Orally take antihistamines (Desloratadine, Epstein, Fexofenadine, etc.) 3.Externally use Furamyl lotion, remember to scald with hot water and scratch. 4.If you have throat discomfort, breath-holding, poor breathing, you should immediately lie on your right side, unbuckle your collar, belt, clear your airway, and call the emergency number.
