Pediatric acute laryngitis can be cured in a few days

  Pediatric acute laryngitis is an acute inflammation of the laryngeal mucosa, mainly in the vocal cords, that occurs mostly in winter and spring, and is particularly common in infants and young children. The disease is often secondary to acute rhinitis, pharyngitis, as well as pediatric malnutrition, low resistance, allergic constitution, chronic diseases of the upper respiratory tract also predispose to acute laryngitis. General treatment: such as keeping the airway open, oxygen if necessary; semi-liquid or liquid diet for mild cases, or fasting for severe cases; ensure adequate fluids and nutrition; pay attention to water-electrolyte balance; protect cardiac function to avoid heart failure; 2. The laryngeal edema should be promoted by glucocorticoids; 3. Surgery: for severe laryngeal obstruction, tracheotomy should be performed promptly.  The prevention measures for pediatric acute laryngitis are as follows: 1. strengthen outdoor activities to enhance physical fitness; 2. pay attention to climate change, increase and decrease clothing to avoid catching cold; 3. live a regular life, diet and regular living; 4. maintain oral hygiene and develop the habit of gargling; 5. treat colds and tonsillitis in a timely manner.
