What to do if you urinate frequently during pregnancy

Frequent urination during pregnancy, if it is physiological frequent urination, usually does not need special treatment. If it is pathologic frequent urination, it needs to be treated for the cause of frequent urination.
1. Physiological factors. If it is in the early stage of pregnancy, the enlarged uterus may press on the bladder, leading to the symptoms of frequent urination. If it is in the late stages of pregnancy, after the fetus is in the pelvis, it will also cause some pressure on the bladder, which will also cause frequent urination symptoms. This is a physiological phenomenon and does not require special treatment.
2. Pathological factors. During pregnancy, vaginal secretions increase, and if you don’t pay attention to vulvar hygiene, the chance of urinary tract infection increases significantly. If a urinary tract infection occurs, the patient may experience symptoms such as frequent urination, urinary urgency and painful urination. If it is a urinary tract infection, you can take drugs such as amoxicillin under the guidance of the doctor, and pay attention to drink more water and urinate more.
