Puncture biopsy is the most important examination method to clarify the nature of the patient’s lesion. The methods to improve the success rate of puncture are as follows: First, to strengthen the daily training of the puncturing physician, including the puncturer should be familiar with the anatomy of the puncture site and skilled in the application of puncture equipment. The most important factor in improving the success rate of puncture is to be able to use the position and direction of the puncture needle flexibly. Second, the patient should be instructed to take a comfortable position to avoid the failure of the puncture due to the inability of the patient to cooperate with the operator due to physical exhaustion. Third, adequate doses of anesthetic should be given during puncture, and the anesthetic range should be wide enough to reduce the patient’s pain symptoms during puncture in order to fully cooperate with the operator and thus improve the success rate of puncture.
