How do you get genital herpes?

Getting genital herpes is a result of coming into contact with a patient who has genital herpes. Genital herpes is a relatively common sexually transmitted disease in clinical practice. It is caused by herpes simplex virus infection, and there are generally two types of herpes simplex virus: herpes simplex virus type 1 and herpes simplex virus type 2. The vast majority of genital herpes is caused by herpes simplex virus type 2. The disease tends to occur in sexually active men and women, and clinically, patients with genital herpes who have clear skin lesions, or patients with subclinical genital herpes, or patients with genital herpes who do not have clinical manifestations but are in the latent phase and also with virulence are the source of the infection. Infection can occur if someone else comes into contact with semen, prostate fluid, exudate from lesions, cervical and vaginal secretions from these patients.
