A denture, also known as a prosthesis, is a method of restoring missing artificial teeth using artificial means and can be divided into removable and fixed dentures. A removable denture is one that can be worn by the patient, and can then be divided into a removable partial denture and a removable full denture. A fixed denture is a method of restoring a missing tooth by using the natural teeth on either side of the missing tooth as a retainer. In addition, there is an implant denture, which is made of pure titanium or titanium alloy and is surgically implanted in the jawbone, where the denture is osseointegrated and then attached to the implant. The implant denture is more stable, has good chewing function and is more comfortable.
