Denture molding is the process of translating the shape of the mouth into a model and then making the denture on the model. The first thing to do is to select the trays, select the arch trays suitable for the patient’s mouth, select the trays and then the impression material. The impression material is adjusted and placed into the trays and then positioned in the mouth, waiting for the impression material to harden and then removed. Nowadays, there are several kinds of impression materials, including alginate, polyether and silicone rubber, each of which has a different degree of coarseness and fineness, and the requirements are different when taking the impression, such as silicone rubber and polyether can be chosen when making more precise parts, and alginate materials can be used when taking the impression of ordinary movable dentures.
