How to do prostate massage

Prostate massage should usually be operated by professional physicians in the hospital, and it is best not to operate on your own, in order to avoid irregularities that may lead to adverse reactions. Operation must be strictly in accordance with the prescribed operating steps to carry out, as follows. When carrying out prostate massage, the patient usually takes the knee-chest position, arms crossed, head crouched on the arms. The operator will first be sterilized around the anus, and then the right index finger wearing rubber gloves, coated with lubricating paraffin oil first gently massage the perianal area and then slowly into the rectum, touching the prostate. Then use the last knuckle of the index finger against the rectal surface of the prostate, in accordance with the order from the outside to the inside, from the top to the bottom of the order of the prostate gland for pressure. Generally, 3-5 pressures are applied from each side of the gland toward the midline, and then prostatic fluid is squeezed from the central sulcus from top to bottom toward the external urethral opening. Massage should be gentle, slow, do not repeat strong pressure, so as not to cause unnecessary damage. After the massage, it is recommended that the patient should urinate immediately, so that the residual inflammatory secretions in the urethra are discharged with the urine. Prostate massage must be moderate, not excessive, otherwise it may lead to prostate damage, causing local discomfort. If discomfort occurs, prompt medical attention is recommended.
