What time to wear keloid compression garments

Keloid pressure garments are usually worn after the wound has healed. Clinical recommendations for keloid pressure garments are generally used immediately after the wound is completely healed, when the scar is not elevated, and after wearing the garment, it can make the capillaries partially occluded, resulting in ischemia and hypoxia, which can effectively inhibit keloid hyperplasia. Early use of keloid pressure garments, due to the tenderness of the skin on the first healing wound, especially the joints, repeated and continuous mechanical friction may rupture and thus lead to ulcers, it is recommended that the wound can be covered with a sponge, gauze or cotton pads, to avoid direct contact between the pressure garments and the wound. During the wearing of keloid pressure garments, it is recommended that they be cleaned every day so as not to cause infection of the traumatized surface. If trauma or ulceration occurs on the surface of the keloid during the wearing process, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital for consultation in a timely manner.
