The importance of the female uterus

1.What are the functions of the uterus? (1) Menstrual function: The monthly menstrual flow is a sign of women’s health, and is also an important part of women’s metabolism, with the role of promoting the renewal of the female hematopoietic system and eliminating toxins from the body. (2) Fertility function: It is an important function to complete human reproduction and continuation, and is a sign of a woman’s maturity. (3) Endocrine function: This function has long been neglected. Recent studies have found that the uterus, in addition to providing 50%-70% of the blood supply to both ovaries to maintain ovarian function, also secretes many hormones such as: prostaglandins, lactogen, insulin growth factor, relaxin, epithelial growth factor, endothelin, cytokines and enzymes, which participate in female endocrine function and play an irreplaceable role. (4) immune function: the uterus, as one of the links in the systemic immune function loop, plays a role in maintaining systemic immune function. 2, some people say “after the birth of a child, the uterus is useless”, “cut the uterus will be at ease, once and for all”, is this concept correct? This concept is not correct. Modern medical research has found that the uterus has other important functions besides fertility. The monthly menstruation plays the role of self-cleaning by flushing the vagina to protect the body from infection; the uterus can secrete a variety of hormones to maintain the endocrine balance and prevent other diseases caused by endocrine disorders; the uterus also has immune functions, and once the uterus is removed, the body’s immune function will be damaged to varying degrees. The most serious reason is that the removal of the uterus has unavoidable damage to the ovaries and causes irreparable damage to the human body. Foreign scholars have found that women who have their uterus removed experience ovarian failure 4 years earlier than women of the same age, and the earlier the hysterectomy, the earlier ovarian failure occurs, and 34% more patients experience severe menopausal symptoms. In other words, hysterectomy leads to earlier ageing and earlier and more severe geriatric disease. If you have your uterus removed prematurely, you may feel comfortable for one or two years after the operation, but the worries and problems will come one after another. In order to solve the above problems, we have to take medication for a long time. Therefore, for the sake of your health, please do not remove your uterus hastily.
