Gastric ulcer belongs to the category of “stomach pain” in Chinese medicine. Alatan Wu Wei Wan can treat stomach pain caused by dampness-heat in the spleen and stomach, or liver and gallbladder evil-heat in the stomach, or blood stasis obstructing the stomach, and stomach qi stagnation, which leads to pain when there is no passage.
Alatan Wu Wei Pill, belonging to Chinese patent medicine, is composed of chebula, pomegranate, wood betony, wulingzhi and black ice tablet. It has the efficacy of strengthening the stomach and aiding digestion, and is used for the treatment of gastrointestinal accumulation of heat, non-digestion of persistent food (food accumulates in the stomach and cannot be digested), damp-heat of the liver and gallbladder, jaundice, and so on.
