Effects of Minocin

Minkoxin is cefuroxime sodium for injection. Cefuroxime sodium is a cephalosporin antibiotic, which is a semi-synthetic antibiotic that kills sensitive bacteria and is a bactericidal agent for the treatment of infectious diseases caused by sensitive bacteria. Cefuroxime sodium belongs to the second generation of cephalosporin antibiotics, mainly by interfering with the synthesis of bacterial cell wall, causing bacteria to lose the cell wall barrier, resulting in bacterial disintegration and autolysis, and exerting bactericidal effects, the bactericidal range is relatively wide, because human cells do not have cell walls, so cefuroxime sodium is less toxic to humans. Cefuroxime sodium is mainly used for the treatment of upper and lower respiratory tract infections caused by sensitive bacteria, ear, nose and throat infections, urinary system infections, skin and soft tissue infections, genital system infections, bone and joint infections, gonorrhea, meningitis, sepsis and other infections; it can also be used for the prevention of infection before surgery and obstetrics and gynecology.
