Small white spots on the skin mainly depends on the range of distribution of small white spots, as well as the size of the small white spots. If the white spots do not have obvious skin atrophy, or there is no obvious scales, it may be the early symptoms of vitiligo, but also may be vitiligo after the healing or soon to be healed with the appearance of small white spots. If it occurs in the elderly or older adults with some epidermal atrophy, it may be an anemic nevus. Nevus anaemia is also called senile leukoplakia, and may appear as localized or generalized white spots in the early stages of the disease. These white spots are characterized by a certain degree of atrophy, mostly due to capillary dysfunction of the epidermis after aging of the skin, resulting in the appearance of white spots.
