What should I be aware of when traveling with epilepsy?

When traveling, epileptic patients should pay attention to the following: 1. It is best not to travel until seizures are under basic control. If you have seizures that are basically under control, you can travel, but it is best to travel with a family member who understands the condition and knows how to care for it. When you go out, bring enough of your regular antiepileptic drugs and some emergency drugs that can work quickly, such as phenobarbital injections and diazepam enemas, in case of a seizure. The next time you take your medication, you should make up for it. 4. Pay attention to the combination of work and rest, ensure enough sleep, do not overexert yourself, do not be too full, too hungry, and drink too much water.
