What is inflaglatinib?

Infiglatinib is a targeted therapy drug commonly used in the treatment of treated, non-surgically resectable locally progressive or metastatic/accompanied by FGFR2 gene fusion cholangiocarcinoma. Infiglatinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor, which can selectively block the fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR), thus inhibiting the proliferation of cancer cells and playing an anti-cancer role. About 15% to 20% of cholangiocarcinoma patients have FGFR2 mutations, and these patients have a poorer prognosis. Infiglatinib can improve the survival rate of metastatic or recurrent cholangiocarcinoma. Common adverse reactions to Infiglatinib are diarrhea, dry skin, stomatitis, alopecia, blurred vision and vomiting. Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency. It is important to note that Infiglatinib should be used under the supervision of a doctor and should not be used on its own.
