How to relieve a baby’s swollen eyes from mosquito bites

If a baby’s eye is bitten by a mosquito, a localized allergic reaction will occur, resulting in localized redness and swelling, accompanied by an itchy sensation. In order to alleviate this symptom, it is recommended that local cold compresses be applied to reduce localized swelling. Glucocorticoids or anti-allergic drugs can also be used to reduce the local allergic reaction, such as sodium cromoglycate eye drops, or tobramycin dexamethasone ophthalmic ointment applied to the surface of the eye. If you are using tobramycin dexamethasone ophthalmic ointment, it is recommended to use it twice a day for no more than three days, and the condition can be effectively relieved and return to normal in about three days. If you are using a cold compress, you can use a cool washcloth on the surface of the eye for about ten minutes at a time.
