How to Facilitate Drainage with Cesarean Delivery

If women after cesarean section want to promote the discharge of bad dew, they can generally adopt the methods of opening breastmilk as early as possible, massaging the uterus and getting out of bed as early as possible.
1. Breastfeeding as early as possible: usually breastfeeding can be started about half an hour after delivery. Early breastfeeding and persistent breastfeeding will be conducive to uterine contraction and discharge of bad dew, and will also stimulate the hypothalamus to produce prolactin, thus promoting the discharge of bad dew and repair of the uterus.
2. Massage the uterus: generally 2 hours after the birth of the abdomen and uterus can be properly massaged to promote abdominal and uterine blood circulation, accelerate the discharge of bad dew, but pay attention to the strength of the massage, do not force too much.
3. Get out of bed as early as possible: For women who have had a cesarean section, it is recommended that they get out of bed as early as possible to help promote uterine contraction and accelerate the discharge of bad dew.
After delivery, women should observe the color, amount and smell of the discharge daily and keep the vagina clean. If the discharge is still present 42 days after delivery, or accompanied by bad smell, they should also consult a doctor in time.
