Why is there a popping sound in the active shoulder joint?

The main reason for the ringing when moving the shoulder joint is that the soft tissues around the shoulder joint, including the joint capsule, ligaments and tendons, rub against the bones of the joint when moving, resulting in the ringing. Under normal circumstances, occasional ringing will occur when the shoulder joint is moving without any pain or dysfunction. If there is persistent ringing, we should consider that the soft tissues around the shoulder joint or the bones of the shoulder joint are diseased or abnormal. This produces a loud sound when moving around. In other cases, the bones around the shoulder joint have become hyperplastic or degenerated, which restricts the movement of the tendons or soft tissues, resulting in a popping sound due to violent friction during movement.
