It is not possible to determine benignity solely from the symptoms of a flaky elevation of the gastric body; tissue biopsy and ultrasound endoscopy are needed to determine whether a gastric elevation is benign or malignant. If there is no other obvious symptom, it may be a benign disease such as gastric polyp, gastric mucositis, chronic atrophic gastritis, etc. If there is no other obvious symptom, it may be a benign disease such as gastric polyp, gastric mucositis, or chronic atrophic gastritis; If, in addition to the lamellar elevation, there are other symptoms such as blurred borders of the lesion and tissue adhesions, then it may be a malignant ulcer or tumor. The exact condition needs to be determined by ultrasonic gastroscopy or pathologic biopsy of the tissue.
