Pimple picking into a wart, i.e. wart, is generally a benign swelling of the skin caused by infection with the human papilloma virus, which can be treated by physical therapy, topical medication, and intradermal injections. Warts can sometimes go away on their own without treatment, but when they are painful and obvious, affecting aesthetics and spreading over a large area, they need to be intervened by the following treatments: 1. Physical therapy: warts can be removed by laser, freezing, electrocautery or photodynamic therapy. 2. Topical medication: choose the topical medication and the way to use it according to the situation, commonly used therapeutic concentration of salicylic acid, retinoic acid ointment, fluorouracil ointment or imiquimod ointment and other treatments. 3. Intradermal injection: Bleomycin and interferon can be injected into the root of the warts. Surgical excision can also be considered for those who are not satisfied with the above treatments. It is recommended that patients who wish to have treatment go to the dermatology department of a regular hospital and follow the specialist’s instructions for standardized treatment, avoiding blind self-medication to avoid adverse consequences.
