Can you have sex while recovering from nasopharyngeal cancer?

Nasopharyngeal cancer can have sex during the recovery period.
The occurrence and development of nasopharyngeal cancer are closely related to genetic factors, viral infection, environmental factors and trace factors, etc. However, there is no relevant research and theory for the time being that can confirm that sex life can lead to the occurrence, aggravation or improvement of nasopharyngeal cancer. Therefore, normal sexual life of patients recovering from nasopharyngeal carcinoma generally will not have a definite effect on the progress and recovery of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
After the onset of nasopharyngeal cancer, snot blood and nosebleed, tinnitus and hearing loss, nasal congestion and headache, vision loss, diplopia and so on may occur. Symptoms such as soft palate paralysis, choking on food, hoarseness and tongue deflection may also appear if the cancer or metastatic lymph nodes compress the IX, X and Ⅺ pairs of cerebral nerves.
Patients recovering from nasopharyngeal cancer should follow the doctor’s instruction for regular review, and at the same time, sex life should be moderate. Once the above symptoms appear, or the original symptoms worsen, they should actively seek for medical treatment and further diagnosis and treatment under doctor’s guidance.
