What does hyperplastic nodule mean?

Hyperplastic nodules indicate benign nodules, mainly due to masses formed by epithelial hyperplasia or connective tissue proliferation, either as single nodules or multiple nodules. More common are thyroid nodules and breast nodules, such as thyroid adenoma, nodular goiter, breast fibroadenoma, and nodules and masses of breast hyperplasia. For the treatment of benign nodules, if the nodules are small, they can be followed up; if the nodules are large, more than three or four centimeters, or if they cause pressure symptoms, surgical removal can be considered. For nodules in the breast, because they may affect the aesthetics, small hyperplastic nodules can be removed, mainly by minimally invasive methods, that is, mammary fibroadenoma rotary surgery, where the incision on the body surface is relatively small and there is usually no scar after surgery.
