Emergency contraceptive pills are not recommended for breast enlargement.
Breast enlargement is a relatively common benign breast disease, the main cause of this disease is endocrine dysfunction, and the body’s estrogen-progestin hormone ratio is imbalanced, so that the breast parenchyma hyperplasia and incomplete recovery.
The main component of emergency contraceptive pills is levonorgestrel, an anti-estrogenic active progestin, which may aggravate the patient’s endocrine dysfunction and lead to more severe breast hyperplasia.
Levonorgestrel may cause some adverse reactions, the more common is menstrual changes, in addition to mild nausea and vomiting, breast swelling and pain, dizziness, vertigo and other symptoms. It is contraindicated in known or suspected pregnancies, as well as in women with breast cancer, cancer of the reproductive organs, abnormal liver function, and over 40 years of age.
If diagnosed with breast hyperplasia, the medication should be used in strict compliance with the doctor’s prescription, and should not be used blindly to avoid adverse reactions or aggravation of the condition.
