Symptoms of upper arm fracture

Symptoms of upper arm fractures vary depending on the severity of the specific fracture. If only a crack fracture or incomplete fracture occurs, there will be swelling and pain at the localized fracture site, but no deformity, and pain will occur or worsen with activity. If there is an obvious misalignment after the fracture, in addition to swelling and pain, there can be obvious deformity of the joint or fracture end, accompanied by activity dysfunction, and if you touch the fracture end, you feel a bone rubbing sound or feel the misalignment of the broken end of the bone. If the fracture damages the surrounding blood vessels and nerves, it may lead to ischemia of the upper limbs and result in pale skin and soft tissue, or impaired movement and sensory impairment.
