Special training methods after nerve repair surgery

I. Nerve release 1. Postoperative brace fixation (please follow the surgeon’s instruction for fixation time), appropriate movement of joints outside the range of fixation 2. After removal of the brace, gradually start to resume normal joint movement 3. The joints outside the range of fixation should be moved appropriately. 2. After removal of the brace, move the joints within the fixed range of the brace actively and passively (with the assistance of the healthy limbs or family members). 3. Appropriate physical therapy (low to medium frequency electrical stimulation). 2.After removal of the brace, move the joints within the fixed range of the brace passively (with the assistance of the healthy limb or family members). 3.Appropriately supplemented with physiotherapy (low to medium frequency electrical stimulation). 4.The functional training methods for different nerve transplants after surgery are as follows: Nerve in the donor area Auxiliary movements Nerve in the recipient area Target movements Para-nerve Shrugging Suprascapular nerve Shoulder abduction Phrenic nerve Deep inspiration Upper stem Shoulder abduction, elbow flexion Healthy side C7 Healthy limb adduction or wall pushing Axillary nerve Shoulder abduction Intercostal nerve Deep inspiration Radial nerve Brachial nerve Nerve Deep inspiration Radial nerve triceps branch Extend elbow Radial nerve triceps branch Extend elbow Medial head of median nerve Flexion of wrist, flexion of fingers Partial bundle of ulnar nerve Flexion of wrist Radial nerve trunk Extend elbow, wrist, extension of fingers Partial bundle of median nerve Flexion of wrist, flexion of fingers Deep branch of radial nerve Extend wrist, extension of fingers Musculocutaneous nerve brachialis branch Flexion of elbow Musculocutaneous nerve biceps branch Flexion of elbow
