Symptoms in babies with Dran Fever Syndrome

Symptoms in babies with Dranje syndrome include a small head, delayed mental development, language lag, feeding difficulties, and a peculiar facial appearance. Dranje syndrome is an autosomal dominant disorder caused by a gene mutation, which is low in prevalence and relatively rare. If a baby has Dranje syndrome, he/she may have prenatal and postnatal developmental delay, such as small head, mental retardation, backward speech, feeding difficulties, etc. The child may also have special facial features such as arched eyebrows, jointed eyebrows, short nose, and anteriorly tilted nostrils. Drummond Fever Syndrome is a rare disease and is diagnosed mainly based on clinical features and genetic screening. If your baby develops the above symptoms, you need to be vigilant and are advised to bring him/her to the doctor for relevant examinations in a timely manner.
